Bay windows (and angle bay windows) consist of three sections called lites separated by a support mullion and comes with head board and seat board.
Bay windows generally have a wood or asphalt shingle or copper roof above depending on the projection of an overhang. The center lite can be a fixed picture window or Double hung with casement or double hung flankers.
Typically bays have a 15, 30, or 45 degree angles. The projection and angle depends on the width of the opening, the size of the center lite, and the projection of existing overhang if there is one.
